Abstract
A bakery machine for moulding dough pieces into elongated sticks via rollers, rolling belt and extending belt with reaction plate. An intermediate proving conveyor gives supplementary expansion of the dough to permit maximum elongation without tearing. The elongated sticks are cut in to short loaves by a rotary disc cutter. In this addn, elongation of the dough is effected between pairs of belts rather than belt opposed by reaction plate. The pairs of belts provide additional rolling of the dough upon itself so that the cylindrical form of the stick and the texture of the prod. are improved.
