Abstract

Offshore platforms for positioning at depths >200 m. are described in the parent patent. Improvement comprises a marine platform in several sections which can be butted together. The final section is already equipped with everything necessary, and can be transported to and positioned on the site by its own means as described in patent 2331645. Pref. all the sections can be erected on land or on a site having a depth of water of =10m. The protracted and difficult work involved in transporting the equipment separately to the site and lifting it in to the platform from barges at sea, is eliminated.
