Abstract

The hoist has two side flanges joined by cross members. The hoist chain (10) passes over the cam (9) which presses against the gripping pad (12). The spring loaded lever (13) presses down on the knurled wheel (17) held on the fixed bolt (5). The face of the lever is also knurled to lock the two parts together. The cam is operated by the lever (20) on the pivot point (21) which moves the cam face towards the pad (21).
