Abstract

The longitudinal position of the ski safety binding can be adjusted on the ski by a tool (2). A bolt (10) is joined to a stirrup (14) which is moved by the tool. The bolt has projections (9) underneath which engage in holes (8) in a slide (5) joined to the ski (3). The bolt is held in the engaged position by a spring (11). The tool has two notches (24) into which the stirrup fits, a flat part of the tool (23) pressing on the body of the fixing (4), so that when it is turned the stirrup, and the bolt, are pulled up.
