Abstract
L'invention a pour objet des solutions aqueuses concentrées stables de glycidyltriméthylammonium (GTA). Ellles contiennent le monohydrate de GTA en une concentration de 90 % jusg'à saturation; après dilution avec de l'eau à une teneur de 25 % de GTA, solutions ont un pH inférieur à 12,5. Pour préparer des solutions concentrées stables de GTA, on mélange du GTA anhydre avec un excès d'eau par rapport à la quantité nécessaire pour former la solution désirée et ensuite on évapore l'excès d'eau sous pression réduite. L'invention fournit également le GTA monohydraté qui est un produit nouveau. Utilisation des solutions de GTA dans l'industrie des amidons et la préparation des surfactifs cationiques.
