Abstract

Système de transport en commun guidé sur la chaussée, à propulsion électrique. Il se caractérise par un dispositif de roulage sur roues à pneumatiques jumelés et par un guidage unilatéral : - sur un seul côté, le véhicule comporte deux boggies orientables équipés, chacun, de deux roues à boudin médian de guidage; - sur l'autre côté, le véhicule repose sur deux roues, libres sur fusées à pivots verticaux; - l'orientation des boggies est transmise parallèlement aux fusées; - la voie se compose de deux rails parallèles très rapprochés constituant un caniveau unique dans lequel s'engagent les boudins des roues des boggies; - un troisième rail, conducteur, est disposé au fond du caniveau. Le capteur à patin coulisse dans un guide isolant inséré entre les deux rails supérieurs. Il est supporté par un petit boggie auxiliaire, à deux petits galets métalliques à boudin; ce boggie est relié au châssis par un petit bras articulé. Le guidage unilatéral et le captage du courant sur caniveau unique réduit l'emprise au sol et n'altère pas le site. Grâce au roulage silencieux sur pneus, ce système de tramway convient aux impératifs de l'urbanisme et s'intègre dans le contexte de la circulation générale.
