Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a monorail vehicle to travel with a simple construction and low noise by providing traveling wheels travelling on a track girder, guide and stabilizing wheels rolling on the side of track girder on a truck frame spanning the track girder to provide on-ground pieces of a linear motor on the track girder and on-vehicle pieces on the truck frame. CONSTITUTION:A track frame 1 is constituted to span a track girder 5 and is provided rotatably with travelling wheels 2 for supporting the track frame 1 relative to the track girder 5 to travel thereabove, guide wheels 6a-6d dis posed on four corners of track frame 1 corresponding to the side upper portion of track girder 5 and a pair of left and right guide wheels 7a, 7b disposed corresponding to the side lower portion of track girder 5. Also, on-vehicle pieces 8 of a linear motor are mounted on portions of track frame 1 spanning the track girder 5 mounting the guide wheels 7a, 7b, while on-ground pieces 9 op posed to the on-vehicle pieces 8 of linear motor are mounted on the side of track girder 5. A car body 12 is supported through a pneumatic spring 11 on a body bolster 10 mounted on the track frame 1.
