Abstract

Produits diluables à l'eau pour l'application de revêtements par déposition cathodique, dans lesquels le liant qui porte des groupements azotés basiques porte également des groupements acides, avec un rapport indice d'amine/indice d'acide de 97 : 3 à 65 : 35. L'un au moins des groupements résineux est modifié, par l'intermédiaire de ses groupes réactifs avec les isocyanates, à l'aide d'un composé répondant à la formule générale : OCN - R - ØNH - O-R'õn n = 1 - 3 dans laquelle R est un reste hydrocarboné aliphatique, aromatique ou cycloaliphatique et R' est le reste d'un alcool saturé ou insaturé tel qu'obtenu par élimination d'un atome d'hydrogène réactif et/ou d'un phénal, et/ou d'un lactame, et/ou d'une aldoxime ou d'une cétoxime, et/ou d'un ester acétylacétique et/ou d'un ester d'acide hydroxamique. Ces produits de revêtements, en bain aqueux, ont un meilleur pouvoir de pénétration vers les parties masquées des pièces, et ils donnent des revêtements qui résistent mieux à la corrosion.
