Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet une presse à mettre en balles pour fourrages agricoles comportant une chambre de pressage qui compacte la marche de ramassage, la récolte ramassée au sol et introduite par une ouverture d'admission, lie éventuellement ladite récolte et la délivre sous forme de balles par une ouverture de sortie, en particulier disposée vers l'arrière dans la direction de la marche de ramassage, ainsi qu'une préchambre au moins présente pendant la délivrance des balles pour l'emmagasinage intermédiaire de la récolte ramassée au sol pendant ladite délivrance des balles. Selon l'invention la préchambre 13 est prévue de façon permanente en avant de l'ouverture d'admission 5 de la chambre de pressage 1 et elle est reliée à l'ouverture d'admission de cette chambre de pressage par un dispositif convoyeur 6 pouvant être mis hors d'action de façon éventuelle pendant le liage mais toutefois au moins pendant la délivrance des balles.
