Abstract

L'invention a pour but un mécanisme à cylindre et piston pouvant être actionné pneumatiquement ou hydrauliquement, et pourvu d'un dispositif spécial de verrouillage mécanique permettant de maintenir la force désirée malgré la variation de pression dans le cylindre sous l'effet des fuites. La surface extérieure du cylindre comporte un filetage 2 sur lequel se visse un carter 1 déplaçable axialement par rapport à ce cylindre. Ce carter 1 est verrouillé d'une part sur le cylindre au moyen d'un système à bague et écrou 12-20-21 et, d'autre part, à la tige du piston au moyen d'éléments à éclisses 29-32, fixés respectivement sur le carter 1 et la tige de piston 25 et reliés entre eux par des organes de liaison appropriés. L'invention est utilisable pour maintenir en position de grosses pièces de structures pétrolières de haute mer sur le pont de navires de transport ou de pontons.
