Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce the baffing effect quickly through a swift detection of thrust against the bucket elevator type unloader when a ship is swayed by waves or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A bucket elevator 8 having a plurality of buckets 8b installed rotatively on a chaine 8a is supported with a support hoisted at the tip of a derrick boom as not illustrated through chain plulleys 16 and 17 or the like which are installed on a lower frame adapted to be stretched through a fluid pressure cylinder 14. In such a device of this type, a pressure switch 33 is provided in a fluid pressure circuit on the head side (stretching side) of the cylinder 14 while an accumulator 37 are provided in a fluid circuit on the rod side (reduction side) of the cylinder 14. With an abnormally high pressure (back pressure) detection signal from the pressure switch 33, an oil pressure is introduced to the rod side of the cylinder 14 through a choke valve 44 and a check value to reduce the boom.
