Abstract

Le procédé utilise une presse à extruder comportant une filière 21, un récipient 25, un mandrin 17 et une tige 23 pour extruder un tube métallique 3 dont le bout avant 9 est fermé. On complète la fabrication de la pièce en formant un gros bout 15 à l'extrémité arrière extrudée du tube dans le récipient, on fait sortir le mandrin et la tige de la filière pour permettre à ce gros bout de sortir de la filière, on éloigne le récipient de la filiere pour découvrir une longueur de tube entre le récipient et la filière, on sertit à l'aide d'un dispositif de sertissage 45, 29 une partie de la paroi du tube radialement vers l'interieur en direction d'une partie opposée de la paroi du tube de manière à isoler de l'atmosphère le gros bout du tube, et on scie ou cisaille le tube pour séparer le gros bout du reste du tube. Tuyaux non ferreux, par exemple en cuivre.
