Abstract

A closed cycle vapour engine passes the exhaust low pressure gas from the engine into the low pressure section of a heat exchanger. The latent heat of the gas is used to heat the liquid which is sprayed through nozzles from a high pressure chamber. The liquid then flows out through the pipe through a liquid to liquid heat exchanger and then to a boiler. The heated gas then returns to the engine via the heat exchanger and the high pressure chamber.
