Abstract
PURPOSE:To accelerate warming up by connecting an exhaust pipe of the internal combustion engine to an exhaust gas passage mounted into an internal combustion engine proper or a cooling water passage and passing exhaust gas through said exhaust gas passage at least when starting. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas passage is formed by boring the metallic section of the engine proper when it is shaped to the engine proper and by a metallic pipe 5 passing a wall 3 of the cooling water passage when it is shaped into the cooling water passage. The exhaust pipe of the internal combustion engine is connected to said exhaust passage, and the exhaust gas is passed at least when starting. Accordingly, the engine proper or cooling water is heated by the exhaust gas, and the time of warming up can be shortened.
