Abstract

Procédé de fabrication d'anodes en carbone calcinées, en particulier pour l'élaboration de l'aluminium par électrolyse à l'état fondu, dans lequel l'anode prémoulée et compactée, dite << verte >> ou << crue >>, est soumise à un traitement de calcination. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que l'opération de calcination comporte une première phase de chauffage par résistance avec un gradient de température de 2,5 à 10 degrés C/min., une deuxième phase de maintien en température pendant 30 à 300 min. et une troisième phase de refroidissement des anodes calcinées.
