Abstract
La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de craquage thermique d'une huile lourde de pétrole qui consiste à chauffer l'huile lourde à une température de 450-550 degrés C et à introduire de l'huile de pétrole lourde ainsi chauffée dans un réacteur dans lequel l'huile est mise au contact de vapeur d'eau surchauffée à 500-800 degrés C. Le procédé implique l'addition de 5 à 20 ppm en proportions pondérales d'un agent anti-moussant à base de silicone à l'huile lourde préalablement à son introduction en cuve dudit réacteur. Ce procédé s'applique au craquage thermique pour éviter le moussage
