Abstract

Procédé mis en oeuvre dans une machine à papier de soie équipée d'un séchoir à écoulement transversal 20, 23 auquel la bande de papier W est amenée à l'aide d'une toile collectrice 21. La toile collectrice 21 est constituée par un feutre choisi de manière qu'il travaille comme un élément qui extrait de l'eau de la bande de papier W par aspiration et capillarité, en quantités telles que la bande de papier W puisse passer sur ce feutre, à un état suffisamment sec, sans pressage à l'état humide et en mettant en oeuvre une énergie d'aspiration raisonnable. Application : fabrication du papier de soie.
