Abstract

La présente invention concerne des verres au borosilicate contenant du zircon avec des indices de réfraction moyens à élevés et des valeurs inverses du pouvoir de dispersion relativement faibles. Les verres conformes à l'invention contiennent comme composants principaux SiO2 et B2 J3 ainsi que ZrO2 . On peut ajouter des composés de sodium et de l'oxyde de tentale et de tungstène. En plus de la variation de la teneur en métal alcalin, l'oxyde d'antimoine Sp2 O3 agit sur les caractéristiques physiques des verres. D'autres oxydes peuvent être ajouté tels que GeO2 , TiO2 , La 2 O3 , Y2 O3 et Nb2 O5 . L'invention sert à la réalisation de verres optiques pour les objectifs photographiques.
