Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet une composition dialkylmagnésienne soluble dans les hydrocarbures. Elle est caractérisée en ce qu'elle renferme du di-n-butylmagnésium et du diéthylmagnésium avec un rapport n-butyle/ ethyle de l'ordre de 0,25/1 à 4/1. On peut utiliser ces dérivés di-organomagnésiens, en tant que réactifs, pour la réduction des cetones, la métallation de dérivés aromatiques et l'alkylation d'halogénures ou d'oxydes métalliques en alkyles métaux correspondants.
