Abstract

The unit dispenses a measured volume of liq. through a filler gun. At the commencement of the cycle, a single acting air cylinder in the gun opens the nozzle, this operation starting up the dispenser pump. When the preset amount has passed through, the volume meter closes the dispensing circuit and also the nozzle of the gun. The volume meter then returns to zero, ready for the next delivery. In the case of an unrestricted flow of liq., the volume meter does not return to zero but records the volume dispensed.
