Abstract

The electrical contactor for a signal circuit is associated with a piston sliding inside a cylinder and a controller. It may be used in hydraulic or pneumatic brake control system. There is a control spindle which is actuated by the piston from the rest position along a guide bearing in the axial direction. There is also a spring loaded deformable electrical switch prong in an insulated housing. The prong engages in cutouts in the control rod which can be set in a given rest position. The elastic switch prong is actuated by the control rod so that its tapered surface will come into contact with an elastic counter contact. The reaction force working on the control rod (4) will retain the switch prong in position in a guide bearing in order to maintain the closed position during the return stroke of the piston.
