Abstract

Briquettes de carbure de silicium pour cubilots dépourvus de deux garnissage pour la refusion de fontes à forte proportion de riblons d'acier. Ces briquettes ont la composition suivante: 25-60 % en poids de SiC, 20-50 % en poids d'Al2 O3 , SiO2 et CaO (y compris du ciment servant de liant dans des proportions de 10 à 25 % en poids), avec des teneurs, calculées sous la forme des oxydes, de 2-30 % en poids d'Al2 O3 , 7-30 % en poids de SiO 2 , 5-25 % en poids de CaO, 3-35 % en poids de graphite, le reste étant fait d'eau de cristallisation et des impuretés usuelles.
