Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de recouvrement de la surface d'une pièce conductrice de l'électricité par une couche épaisse et homogène de revêtement. La pièce conductrice à recouvrir est disposée à l'intérieur d'une enceinte inférieure à 50 mm d'un élément en matériau de revêtement. On prévoit une anode lui peut être l'enceinte elle-même et l'élément à recouvrir et l'élément en matériau de revêtement constituent deux cathodes distinctes. Les cathodes sont mises à des potentiels tels qu'il existe des différences de potentiel comprises entre 200 et 1500 volts entre anode et cathodes. On réalise le revêtement par décharge anormale établie entre l'anode et les cathodes. L'invention s'applique en particulier à la chromisation.
