Abstract

Ce procédé, dans lequel les deux extrémités des pièces sont tout d'abord coudées et le tronçon central subsistant entre ces extrémités est ensuite plié, permet la réalisation de pièces annulaires se présentant sous la forme d'un fil ou d'une bande enroulé. Suivant l'inventiont, le matériau en fil ou en bande, n'ayant pas encore été coupé à la longueur d'une pièce, est cintré sur un premier mandrin dans une région située à une distance de l'extrémité avant du matériau correspondant à la longueur de la pièce. Ensuite on effectue dans cette région préalablement cintrée une coupe du matériau. Ainsi on obtient, de part et d'autre de cette coupe, deux zones cintrées qui constituent respectivement l'extrémité arrière d'une première pièce et l'extrémité avant de la pièce suivante. Enfin, le tronçon central de chaque pièce est plié sur un second mandrin. Ce procédé permet d'obtenir une courbure constante, y compris aux extrémités de la pièce. Application particulière à la fabrication de cages de roulements à aiguilles.
