Abstract

Dispositif potentiométrique de préservation et anticorrosif empêchant des organismes marins d'adhérer à une surface conductrice immergée dans de l'eau saumâtre ou de l'eau de mer. Une électrode de titane constitue une anode; une couche d'oxyde diélectrique formée électriquement sur l'électrode limite le passage de courant à partir de la surface immergée. L'électrode est montée au voisinage de la surface conductrice et isolée de celle-ci. Une alimentation applique une différence de potentiel entre l'électrode de titane et la portion de surface conductrice immergée, qui est rendue cathodique par rapport à l'anode par le potentiel appliqué et est donc protégée contre la corrosion et le salissement. Protection des coques de navires.
