Abstract

The plate cylinder for e.g. a rotary offset printing machine can be adjusted in a diagonal direction. One of its bearings is accommodated in the machine housing mounted on an eccentric sleeve (5). Part of its surface is a toothed segment (7) which meshes with a toothed rod (8). The toothed rod (8) together with an externally threaded rod forms the pull and push rod. The toothed rod (8) and with it the eccentric sleeve (5) can be locked by two manually adjustable clamping sleeves (15).
