Abstract

The clamp secures a flexible printing plate onto a forme cylinder with one end of the plate bent to fit round a groove edge in the cylinder, while the other end is pulled taut by a clamping strip in bearings coaxial to it. The strip (4) is fixed to calibration rings (14,15) slide loose onto trunnions (16,17) of the cylinder (1), and rotated by an actuating mechanism.
