Abstract

L'appareil selon l'invention comporte un tunnel de guidage rigide 6 dans lequel deux feuilles flexibles, par exemple en papier 2 et 3, sont entraînées par des mécanismes 9 à partir de rouleaux d'alimentation 11 et 12 et en passant autour d'un anneau formeur 4, un mélange liquide de réactifs étant envoyé partiellement expansé à travers un godet 5 et les feuilles étant appliquées contre les surfaces intérieures du tunnel soit par augmentation de la pression de l'air, soit par aspiration de l'extérieur afin que le bloc moulé et complètement expansé sorte par l'extrémité opposée du tunnel. Le procédé selon l'invention convient en particulier pour former des blocs cylindriques utilisés ultérieurement par déroulage pour obtenir des feuilles de matière mousse.
