Abstract

The boilet (1) has a heating coil (9) and a second heating coil (16) arranged below it. Both coils are above an oil burner (6) fed from a fuel tank (2). The flow pipes (24, 25) from the two coils contain electrically operated valves (26, 27) and join after the valves into a common flow (18). This feeds radiators (4, 5). There is a pump (22) in the return and a feed and expansion tank (3) connected to the system. The valves are operated by a timer so that as the one closes the other opens. Thus there is always flow from one coil while static water is receiving heat in the other one.
