Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance economy by a method wherein a heat-transmitting medium heated by using solar heat or terrestrial heat as a heat source is stored in a main tank, a heat-transmitting medium heated by an auxiliary heat source is stored in an auxiliary tank and the heat-transmitting medium in the main tank is used effectively for heating.
CONSTITUTION: A constant-temperature mixing valve 17 is provided in a feed passage 7a connecting a main heat-accumulating tank 1 with the heater 5, and one side (b) of the valve 17 is connected to the auxiliary tank 8 provided with the auxiliary heat source 9. The heat-transmitting medium is fed to the heater 5 through a pump 6 and is returned to the main tank 1 through a return passage 7b. When the temperature of the medium in the tank 1 is higher than a preset temperature of the valve 17, the valve 17 turns on a circuit a. On the other hand, when the temperature of the medium in the tank 1 is lower than the preset temperature, both the circuits a and b are automatically turned on the conduct mixing until a high-temperature heat-transmitting medum in a tank 2 attains a constant temperature. Accordingly, since the auxiliary heat source 9 is utilized for only supplying the deficiency of heat of the medium, economy is enhanced.
