Abstract

The boiler (1) supplies hot water to the space heating radiator system (4) through the pipes (3) and (6) and the accelerator pump (5) in the main circuit. The return water passes through a three way valve (10) which supplies water to a heat exchanger reservoir (11). The water returns from the heat exchanger to the boiler through the pipe (13). The three way valve (10) is operated by a thermostate (21) which allows more or less water to pass through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is fitted internally with a coil (7) which carries the water to be heated. An auxiliary pump (17) feeds the water to the coil, by passing the radiators.
