Abstract

A sheet of corrugated cardboard has five bands or strips (1 to 5). The first band (1) forms the upper surface of the basket and has cutouts to form a handle (20) and cuts to form flaps (6, 7). The second and third bands (2, 3), of the same width form the side walls. The fourth band (4), of the same width as the upper surface, forms the bottom of the basket. There are several flaps (10-13). Lines of fold are provided between the bands and for the flaps. The basket is made up by folding along the folds lines. Band (5) is glued or fastened to band (2). Flaps (9, 11) and (8, 11) are fastened outside flaps (7, 13) and (6, 12) respectively.
