Abstract

L'invention concerne un foret à pastilles de coupe orientables. Ledit foret présente deux pastilles de coupe radialement opposées ayant des arêtes de coupe présentant un angle d'attaque positif ou négatif vers l'arrière de l'outil et s'etendant dans le même cône de révolution. Une des pastilles comporte un bec arrondi radialement interne qui coupe l'axe de l'outil. L'autre pastille est à recouvrement mais est radialement vers l'extérieur et comporte un bec externe destiné à assurer la taille de la paroi latérale du trou à son diamètre définitif. Les arêtes de coupe des pastilles présentent des interruptions pour casser les copeaux. Application à un foret destiné à percer des trous à une profondeur très supérieure au diamètre du foret.
