Abstract

Procédé de préparation du 2,3-diméthylpentanal par réaction du 3-méthyl-2-pentène avec l'oxyde de carbone et l'hydrogène à une température de 70 à 150 degrés C et une pression de 200 à 400 bars en présence de composés du rhodium. On utilise des composés de rhodium-carbonyle. Le procédé selon l'invention donne avec de bons rendements l'aldéhyde recherché, lui-même produit de départ de la préparation de médicaments.
