Abstract

Deux noyaux magnétiques en fer à cheval 5, 6, traversent chacun un enroulement 7, 8. L'enroulement primaire 7 peut être relié à une source électrique alternative 10, pour créer une tension alternative dans l'enroulement secondaire 8 relié à un voltmètre 13. Un équipage mobile 19 est asservi aux variations de la tension à détecter sur le fil Y. Des moyens magnétiques 18, 27 à réluctance variable, solidaires de l'équipage mobile 19, peuvent se déplacer dans le plan de l'entrefer G des deux noyaux 5, 6. Ceci crée un court-circuit magnétique avec le noyau primaire, 5, au détriment du noyau secondaire 6, d'une manière plus ou moins importante, en fonction du déplacement angulaire de l'équipage 19. La réluctance variable est, par exemple, obtenue au moyen d'une plaque ajourée en croissant 27, en matériau ferro-magnétique, accolée à un disque amagnétique co-axial 18.
