Abstract

Procédé de préparation de coke moulé suivant lequel on chauffe, dans une atmosphère non oxydante, des agglomérés, ce procédé étant caracterisé en ce que les agglomerés sont préparés par compression à partir d'une pâte contenant : - de 60 à 85 % en poids de charbons non cokéfiables; - de 10 à 30 % en poids de charbons agglutinants d'indice de gonflement supérieur à 2; - et de 5 à 13 % en poids de liant, laquelle pâte, soumise dans le dilatomètre ARNU à un chauffage de 6 degrés C par minute, donne une contraction dont la valeur est comprise entre 3 et 15 %, de préférence entre 5 et 10 %, et un regonflement nul ou voisin de 0, et que les agglomérés sont chauffés, dans une atmosphère non oxydante, à une température d'environ 100 degrés C jusqu'à une température d'au moins 700 degrés C environ, avec une vitesse de chauffe comprise entre 7 et 14 degrés C par minute.
