Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et une machine d'emballage d'articles compressibles. Suivant l'invention, on entraîne un article le long d'une trajet fixe, on introduit dans la machine deux feuilles opposées de matière d'emballage en regard, on engage l'article entre lesdites feuilles opposées, qui comportent une extrémité avant qui a été scellée pour former une enveloppe ouverte sur les côtes et sur l'arrière, les côtés de l'enveloppe étant ensuite scellés, puis l'enveloppe étant découpée à longueur et étant scellée sur son bord arrière après éventuellement une phase de compression et de mise sous vide destinée à réduire l'encombrement des articles emballés. Application à l'emballage d'articles d'habillement, d'isolation, etc.
