Abstract

The machine delivers granular or powdery material, e.g. artificial fertiliser or seed, onto or into the soil, being equipped with a hopper. An indicator is provided showing, as the machine travels forward and with the hopper full, how much material is being delivered. This can be arranged to show the quantity delivered per unit of time and/or of distance travelled. In the direction of flow from hopper to metering device it can be mounted upstream of the latter, and coupled direct to it. It can be in the form of a transparent level gauge with calibrations, of plastic tube.
