Abstract

There is a seat back frame (2) and a seat frame (3). The back frame pivots relative to the seat, around pivots (4). The back frame carries further parts (5, 6). The parts (5) have a stop (7) which mates with a finger (8) which pivots. The front part of the seat frame is supported by a foot (10) which pivots at a point (11) carried on feet (12) on the frame (3). The centre of the frame (3) is stayed by a part (13) which has a retaining collar (14). At the centre of the seat frame (3) is a support (16) and adjusting lever (17) for height. This, and hence the seat, is supported on a vertical pillar (15).
