Abstract

The rubber stamps is self inking and is provided with a replaceable ink cartridge (7) fitting inside its handle. The stamp comprises a suitable flat base (1), its central aree having a circular collar (3) on its rear face. The porous rubber motif (2) is fixed to the front face. The cartridge fits inside the circular collar and its base (8) is pierced by a point (4) formed in the centre of the area comprising the collar. The point has a capillary hole (6) through it, permitting the ink to pass into the stamp under the pumping action caused by the pressure of the stamp in use.
