1349130 Selective printing INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP 28 Dec 1972 [26 Jan 1972] 59809/72 Headings B6C and B6F Ink supply pad.-An inked platen for a matrix wire printer comprises a unitary microporous nylon body 5 having a flexible-tough microporous outer skin 3 and a ribbon 1 affixed to the outer surface. The body 5 is formed from compression moulded particulate nylon, and the ribbon 1 is a weave of nylon fibre and preferably impregnated with a fluoro-organic material. The whole is mounted in the opening of a reservoir 9 with a fibre fill 7.
