Abstract
The voltage transformer exhibits a high-voltage winding enclosing an iron core (1) and consisting of a number of part-coils (16-21) which are arranged next to one another axially and are connected in series and which form a stepped compound coil held together by casting resin and having a hollow conical recess. To be able to manufacture such a voltage transformer with simple production means and achieving advantageous dimensions, the casting resin forms a prefabricated casting-resin body (6) which exhibits the same total thickness over its entire length and a number of annular chambers (10-15), which extend within this thickness, for accommodating the part-coils. The voltage transformer is particularly suitable for gas-insulated metal-encapsulated high-voltage switchgear.
