Abstract

Ce laveur de pâte est du type qui comprend une cuve 12 dans laquelle tourne un cylindre 10 dont la surface est formée d'une toile métallique et à l'intérieur duquel on établit une dépression. La pâte à laver arrive par un cuvier d'entrée 20, elle forme une nappe de fibres 14 sur la surface du cylindre 10 et est détachée de cette surface par un racleur 16. Au fur et à mesure de son égouttage elle est comprimée par une plaque 40 composée d'une tôle mince et flexible et qui enveloppe une partie de la circonférence du cylindre. Ce bouclier est articulé en 58 sur la cuve, raidi par des nervures 42 dans la zone de formation ZF et par des nervures 44 dans la zone de compression ZC, la région 26 étant dépourvue de nervures pour former une charnière imparfaite et la compression est assurée par des organes de commande 30 convenablement disposés pour que l'angle de convergence entre la plaque et le cylindre s'ajuste automatiquement en fonction de l'epaisseur de la nappe de pâte.
