Abstract
Panels sized to fit between conventionally spaced roof rafters comprise a flat shallow hollow profile for a circulating fluid and a glazed cover to trap radiant heat. The profile and cover the supported by a frame line with insulating material. Joints between adjacent frames are sealed by injection of a flexible mastic. The panels replace conventional roofing panels, tiles etc. so that the overall roof loading is not greater than that of a conventional roof.
