Abstract

The solar heating system particularly for use with a sloping roof, to obtain a hot water supply uses parallel tubes which are laid in the corrugations of a corrugated roof sheet. These tubes are spaced so that each fits inside a corrugation. They are connected to parallel upper and lower header tubes beyond the edges of the roof sheet. The roof sheets and tubes are then covered by transparent corrugated top panels which may be secured by nails passing through both panels to the woodwork underneath.
