Abstract
The heat collector arrangement for a solar heating system uses corrugated sheets (10) formed by trough shaped sections which overlap at their longitudinal edges (11) where they are supported by the rafters (12) of a building frame, particularly a roof frame. They thus form part of the building structure. The joints can be sealed by capping strips (13) which carry I section carrier strips (16) which retain glass sheets (15) spaced above. The heat exchange fluid circulates through coils under the corrugated plates. The coils may be formed by tubes (14) welded to the underside of the trough shaped sheets.
