Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de traitement en continu de bande d'acier, le traitement consistant en un recuit, un nettoyage par bain de sel fondu, un rinçage et un décapage à l'acide Dans le traitement en continu, certaines bandes ne doivent pas passer dans le sel fondu. L'invention propose donc un moyen 26, 30 permettant de soulever et d'abaisser le cylindre immergé entraîné 12 qui plonge la bande S dans la cuve 4, tout en le maintenant horizontal. A l'extrémité de sortie de la cuve 4, un cylindre de guidage 16 qui est mobile entre une position inférieure et une position supérieure de contact avec la bande comporte un moyen 78 permettant de couvrir le cylindre dans sa position inférieure et de le découvrir dans sa position supérieure. L'invention s'applique au traitement en continu de bandes d'acier appartenant à différents types. Elle permet de poursuivre le traitement lors du passage d'une variété à une autre et évite de devoir réamorcer le processus continu à chaque changement de bande.
