Abstract

Dispositif générateur de vapeur surchauffée, à partir d'une source de liquide. Il comprend dans une enveloppe une paire d'électrodes cylindriques ou prismatiques concentriques placées aux bornes d'une source d'énergie électrique, un matériau poreux disposé entre lesdites électrodes, ledit matériau poreux étant électriquement isolant, présentant une faible inertie thermique, et étant chimiquement inerte vis-à-vis du liquide à vaporiser, un moyen de pompage pour amener dans ladite enveloppe une quantité déterminée de liquide à vaporiser dans le matériau poreux, et un moyen pour faire sortir de ladite enveloppe la vapeur produite. Application notamment au traitement des cheveux à la vapeur surchauffée.
