Abstract

Détecteur de combustion. Il comprend un élément d'un oxyde métallique solide dont les côtés comprennent des revêtements d'oxyde métallique qui constituent des électrodes. Ledit oxyde métallique solide a pour caractéristique d'engendrer une force électromotrice par le transfert des ions oxygène qui le traversent. Le détecteur est placé au voisinage de la veilleuse d'un brûleur qui produit un gradient de concentration en oxygène et une température élevée agissant sur le détecteur qui, en réponse, produit une force électromotrice susceptible de provoquer le fonctionnement de l'appareillage de commande et de reglage d'un brûleur à gaz. Application au brûleur de chauffage d'un appareil domestique tel qu'un four, un chauffe-eau, etc.
