Abstract

La présente invention concerne un gyroscope à laser en anneau dont les miroirs contiennent au moins un miroir partiellement transparent, constitué par une pièce stratifiée, avec une couche très réfléchissante. Le gyroscope comprend des moyens pour produire des faisceaux lumineux contrarotatifs; la différence des fréquences de ces faisceaux est utilisée pour déterminer la vitesse angulaire du mouvement dont est animé le laser en anneau. Ce gyroscope est destiné en particulier à déterminer le sens et la vitesse angulaire d'un mouvement de rotation lent par rapport à des axes inertiels.
